Bryan joined Sumerian in 2011 with over 30 years of extensive industry experience working in enterprise business technology. Most recently Bryan was a Partner and CIO at KPMG, where he led the technology integration of the largest KPMG European firms as they created a new pan-European business with over 30,000 staff. In his time at KPMG Bryan also led a variety of strategic innovation initiatives, improving efficiency and quality through offshoring, consolidation and exploiting technology advances.
Prior to this, Bryan worked at EDS, focussing on outsourcing for the Oil and Gas, Electricity and Financial Services industries. For the first ten years of his career, Bryan worked in a number of analytics roles including: MOD (marine power plant simulations), Lloyd’s Register (safety and reliability simulations), Marathon Oil (operations research) and Admiral Computing (dealing systems, traded option valuation models).
Joan is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years' experience in a variety of senior financial positions across a number of different sectors. Those include Chief Financial Officer of Orbital Software Holdings PLC, Deputy Managing Director and Financial Director of The Scotch Malt Whisky Society Ltd, and Group Financial Controller of Kwik-Fit Holdings PLC.
Joan joined Sumerian in July 2004 and is primarily responsible for the finance and administration function.
Sarah joined Sumerian in 2005 and is responsible for the marketing function.
Prior to joining Sumerian, Sarah was Global Marketing Director at NCR Corporation working within the company's Financial Solutions Division. Sarah brings over 20 years of extensive product management and marketing experience gained across a variety of roles within both the financial services and technology sectors.
Ewan joined Sumerian in 2007 and is responsible for managing the company's IT and development functions.
Prior to joining Sumerian, Ewan was the Chief Technology Officer with Vebnet, the leading provider of Employee Benefits software. Ewan brings nearly 20 years' experience of technology gained in the financial services industry, latterly with Aegon UK where he was Head of Strategy & Architecture.
Peter, who joined Sumerian in 2002, is responsible for technology and service innovation, identifying new analytics techniques and continually evolving Sumerian’s Analytics Platform. He is also responsible for developing our collaborative links with academic institutions.
Prior to joining Sumerian, Peter was a Technical Leader with Cisco Systems in California, where he worked with large service provider clients and Cisco partners to define network and service management solutions. Peter has 20 years' experience in the industry, spanning research, product development, service management and business analysis.
Roly joined Sumerian in 2007 and is responsible for all aspects of service delivery, project and programme management. Prior to joining Sumerian, Roly had a successful career as an officer in the British Army, during which he gained extensive management, planning and organisational experience, including working in defence CIS as an application lead on the Defence Information Infrastructure (DII) programme.
Joanne Kinsella is responsible for heading Sumerian's sales and business operations in North America. Jo joined Sumerian in 2010 with over 10 years' extensive experience working in the global financial technology sector. Prior to joining Sumerian, Jo held a number of high profile positions in financial services and IT, most recently for a real time systems and application monitoring company and prior to that leading product development for BT Global Financial Services. Jo, who is based in New York, has also worked extensively across Europe and Asia.
Emer joined Sumerian in 2010 and is responsible for delivering Sumerian's portfolio of analytics solutions to clients across the UK and Europe. Emer has specialised in the area of analytics and performance management for over 20 years. Before joining Sumerian, Emer was a senior account executive for Oracle, specialising in enterprise performance management for financial services, and prior to this spent 14 years in the area of service delivery both as a consultant and also as a team manager for Cap Gemini.
